MY WORK.
I am a multidisciplinary artist exploring Black archival history through embodied memory. I use movement and film to honor, reimagine, and carry forward ancestral knowledge.

2025 Armstrong Now Artist-in-Residence
I am honored to join the Louis Armstrong House Museum as one of the 2025 Armstrong Now Artists-in-Residence, alongside trumpeter, percussionist, and composer Etienne Charles. Through this residency, I will engage with the Museum’s archives as a living source, drawing on Armstrong’s legacy to develop new work in dance and film. This opportunity continues my ongoing research in Black archival histories and the reclamation of Black aesthetics in dance film.
Stay tuned for updates on my creative process and upcoming performances at the Museum in 2025. |
