IMMERSION 6.0 VR Creation Lab ResidencyMay 18-31, 2025
Wilmington, NC Irishia has been accepted as a resident for the 2025 IMMERSION 6.0 VR Creation Lab Residency, hosted by The School of Making Thinking and the Cucalorus Film Foundation. This immersive residency invites artists to engage deeply with Wilmington’s racial history and its contemporary cultural landscape. The work produced during this residency will be showcased at the VR Salon at the Cucalorus Festival in November 2025. Join me on this journey of artistic exploration and cultural dialogue. |

Screendance in the Landscape WorkshopJune 8-14
Easdale Island Scotland, UK Irishia will be participating in Screendance in the Landscape, a workshop led by Katrina and Collin McPherson on the remote and beautiful Easdale Island. This immersive experience will focus on practical exercises that encourage creative exploration, skill-building, and inquiry into the screendance form. We’ll work directly with the natural environment, experimenting with the embodied camera, the fluid relationship between dancer and lens, and the shifting roles of mover and observer in the landscape. |

Juror for FDFF x Bates Dance Festival 2025July 20, 2025
Bates Dance Festival Lewiston, ME Irishia is honored to serve as a juror for the collaboration between FDFF and the 2025 Bates Dance Festival season. This summer she will join fellow adjudicators at the Bates Dance Festival for an evening of dance films featuring finalists from the past three years of the FDFF short film competition. Irishia looks forward to evaluating the creativity and talent on display and helping to select the finalists. |

Seattle Theater Group Port Townsend, WA Irishia is a guest artist at for the 2025 DANCE This Camp at Centrum, a week-long high school dance intensive hosted by Seattle Theatre Group and Centrum. Led daily technique and repertory classes in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment, culminating in a final student showcase at Fort Worden. |
