YOGA.
After receiving her B.A. in Educational Sciences and B.F.A. in Dance Choreography at UC Irvine, Irishia found herself looking to stay active outside of dance. She attended her first official yoga class at Ra Costa Mesa in 2016 and instantly fell in love with the studio and the practice. Over time she started to appreciate yoga not only for its physical benefits, but its philosophy and message which has helped to transform her lifestyle. Having this experience allowed her to only push forward as an industry dancer and choreographer, but also led her to pursue becoming a yoga teacher. In 2018, Irishia completed her 200 hour Vinyasa certification through Ra Yoga and completed her Yogalates certification in 2019. She plans to complete more certifications in the future. Irishia's classes are structured around creating rhythmic, high-energy flows that boost the spirit and uplift vibrations. She hopes that her students leave her classes feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and whole.
